any other fun places you recommend that are not so much clubs but more just fun party places? I know about dicks... not so many other...
For a party atmosphere without the hassles of a megaclub, try the rockhouse in front of IP, voodoo lounge at the rio, Love Revolution lounge at the mirage, Christian Audigier at TI(it says nightclub, but I've never seen it packed and it lacks pretension, despite the name) or the Hawaiian Tropic Zone at Planet Hollywood. If you go to o'sheas near harrah's you'll find cheap drinks and wild people as well. Can't wait to read the trip report!!!
      Thanks for the suggestions!

Hawaiian Tropic is GONE,CLOSED! I would avoid the Rockhouse, but that's obviously just my opinion. Ask them if you can look in to see what it's like. Carnival is a good in between spot, after pool party and before the club!

Thanks for letting me know about Hawaiian Tropic Zone being closed. I just saw it on Vegas Confessions but I think that show just has a basement full of old interviews they rebroadcast, lol. You're kind of right about rockhouse. It's smaller than it looks and the bathroom is in IP so if you drink tons of light beer, it's kind of a hassle. I usually hit that place up after a club when I'm not tired and don't want my night to end. It's a dive bar, which is more my style back home so I'm a little more comfortable with it.

                what time?

I have passed by Carnival Court a few time early in the day (lunch time) and nothing is going on. What time does the party atmosphere there get rolling.

I have had a few crazy afternoons here... It's a great time. It's kinda like spring break. Plus, they have blackjack tables outside.

When the hell did The Tropic Zone close?

Anyway, I can vouch for the Voodoo Lounge...I went there on a Sunday and the vibe was pretty good (and it was 90s night...right up my alley). Caramel in the Bellagio, while being small, also has a decent vibe to it.
                      I'm on a horse.
