Are these club hoppin tickets worth it?

Are these VIP tickets decent value considering I might use 6-8 tickets. I just dont want to be waiting like an hour to get into some of the bigger places.

I wouldnt suggest it, with the listed hosts you can accomplish everything on your own.....read jacks article about VIP which is stickied

I read the sticky guide that was posted, but I would probably be better just having the tickets instead of organising that many venues. As many as eight of the clubs in the sellers list are mentioned as being the most popular spots by Jack. If there are better clubs than these (I dont like plams looks), what are they? Lastly, I dont mind paying if the product is good.

Here is my problem with this deal, it says no lines and I doubt that a group of 10 guys rolling up to Tao on a Thursday with these passes is getting in no line/no cover/no grease with just these cards, That is usually how you want to think about these types of deals. To the bouncer you will look no different than the guy who found passes on the strip for free.

I am also afraid of them showing you none of the details, even the Vegas Stubs that Jack showed us the preview for the other day has only valid before midnight. So this club passes may be similar and then you are only really getting 1 cover a night out of the box assuming it isnt valid only on slower nights/females only etc.

Sounds like youve already made your decision. The sticky thread represents how most of the members feel about the passes. The passes may or may not work. Most clubs are biased toward girls, with or without passes, so if your a guy your chances are severely less. You say you dont mind paying if the product is good, but that doesnt seem true. Dealing directly with the club has proven to be the best way over and over again. Buying passes like these may seem like a cheaper route, but its very risky.

I will say this, considering the price for that package, in my personal experience (because I used to buy passes ), you can get most of those passes on ebay for $.25-$1 each, or talk with some promoters or a concierge and get them free.

I actually used those passes last year, aidy. They worked fine but like everyone else said, they can be obtained much cheaper for the same result. With the passes, I really didn't get to skip everyone in line. I just got to stand in a faster moving line at the places that were packed (Tao, Poetry, etc). I still greased the doormen about $10 anyway as a precaution and was dressed to the nines. I got everywhere early enough as the passes will advise you to do and it wasn't a problem.

However, some of the places I had passes for, didn't even have a cover, or even a doorman checking anything. Split up your group of guys, buy cheaper passes, dress nice, smile, and you'll be fine.

Agreed. Pick a club for every night, and get in contact with a host from that club. It's not as hard as it seems.

once I started using the guestlist, I stopped buying passes. Ive always gotten in on the guestlist. 50% of the time Ive had my cover waived. If they dont automatically waive your cover, you can always ask the person with the clipboard if you can buy a cover voucher for a discount (i.e. bribe).

BUT again absolutely best option is to have a host escort you in.

Firstly, thanks very much for the feedback. Its actually just me and my girlfriend going so there should be no trouble (hopefully) getting in. I checked ebay and there are some similar tickets available, but they still include cover; hardly vip that. I have been thinking about only doing maybe 3 nights out as I tend to go walkabout, and there is only so much of that my missus will take. If we were to do a smaller number of clubs like studio 54, Tao and another, how do I go about organising a vip escort? Oh and does this reserve you a seat? All very confusing this. In Ireland u either wait in line with ticket, old fashioned I know

P.S. Id take a look at the "which clubs to go to thread" because Studio 54 is not THE place to be.

Yeah, your girl could probably find something with not only free cover, but free drinks as well. Either a host, guesslist, or pass will suffice, along with you providing a greasy handshake to someone in charge of admission. You'll get priority. If you reserve a table, it will be more expensive(see any thread about that) but worth it. And there wil be a place to sit, lol. If you recruited one or two more girls, they'll throw you into the club, lol. Bottom line you'll have fun. Post that trip report immediately!!!

The clubs in vegas are really different to here in Europe. Although there's a line, it doesn't really move forward in any logical fashion, they just pick out who looks good enough, or who's greasing them enough. But as a couple you'll do ok, but don't just join the line or you'll be there forever. you need to get the attention of one of the hosts (the dudes wandering around with clipboards who we'd think of as bouncers) - and say you're on the guestlist (assuming you are, and if not just pretend!) You may or may not be expected to grease a bit to get yourself it, but your GF should be given free entry. To be honest at Blush my OH had to grease, but at Tryst the guy wouldn't take it either night we went. He only payed cover on the saturday and not the thurs, and I didn't pay for either night.
Best thing is to get there EARLY - like 10-10.30 at the lastest.
And dress to the nines!
