Vegas CLUB Virgin

First off let me say I have been lurking…and now I’m out!

Second, I am so impressed with AOD and my hat goes off to you all : )

I’m not a Vegas Virgin, this is my third trip but we haven’t really clubbed in Vegas yet. I went to Pure one time, after drinking for a straight 15 hours, stayed long enough for one last cocktail and upon leaving immediately joined Caesar’s Palaces’ Wheelchair Club…and no I’m not ashamed, actually rather proud, like a Vegas Moment of Glory!

The reason that my friends and I didn’t club the first two trips were because we were young (21 and 22) and drank our effing faces off. We’re also the kind of girls who will dance anywhere so we weren’t that particular. This time around we’ve all grown up a little (25) and are looking to experience more of the Vegas club scene.

This is where my confusion sets in… It’s a group of 7 girls. Can I just contact the host, put ourselves on the guest list, waltz pass the line, pay the cover and get my dance on? Am I supposed to tip the host? Do we pay cover still? I know Tao is hot on Thursday night but my girls and I are hiphop/top40 dance girls, if it’s a trance/house night, everyone will complain and we will leave. This goes for ANY club, we just aren’t into that scene…

We are going to be there March 10-14, 4 nights that we want to make COUNT. The only thing I know of that we “have” to do as far as club scene goes is Tao on Thursday and Ditch on Friday? And again, do we pay a cover for Ditch? Do we buy tickets? Do we stand in line?

i can answer some of your questions...as far as 7 girls getting into a club, you shouldn't have a problem. it is a good idea to get on the guestlist and if you do that you should be all set and you shouldn't have to worry about cover. as far as tipping, if it's just guestlist i personally wouldn't worry about tipping but i guess that is up to you if you want to or not.

i might start looking on napkin nights dot com or spy on vegas dot com. both have events listings, so you can kinda preview what music/what night/what club before getting to town.

7 Girls should not have any problem at all...just contact some of the host direct formt he list given here. Obviously some places may mix in some house here and there but from all my trips to Vegas, if you go on the main nites, it wont be Trance House music, its definately no 1015 Foldom *Sf club)

My only adivse would be just because your 7 girls, doesnt mean you rule the roost, I would tip, even at $5 each, thats a nice $35 for the doorman and you never know, you may end up back at one of the places on one of your other nights.

To the OP - You will definitely be fine with 7 girls! Just text the hosts on here and let them know its 7 girls and they should be able to take care of you. Also the girls going that weekend are planning a "girls night" at Carnival Court which should be a blast!

Because it's Vegas we're planning to play most of it by ear, but we have made a pact that we WILL dance every single night, dammit. I did guest list us through freevegaspass per Rich's advice.

Wed - Moon/Palms clubs
Thur - Pure although we are also SUPPOSED to get passes from my gym's manager's brother for Tao but we'll see...

As far as the quality goes, what if it's 6 hot girls and 1 who could stand to lose a little bit (lotta bit) of weight? Should we plan some act of sabotage so she can't come with? just kidding, kind of...
