Question RE:Palms

Oviously, the wristband thing has been discussed ad naseuam. So, I'm not worried about how they work. But, I would like to know what type of music to expect inside of Rain on Saturday night now. Seems that it has changed between a few styles the past six months or so and I want to avoid House/Techno if at all possible.

If they've got that on Saturday, I'd rather just go for Moon/Playboboy on Thrusday and do Tryst or Haze on Saturday. If it's typical club top 40/hip hop/ mashups and some techno.then it's Palms all the way on Saturday night.

Well looks like Paul Oakenfold till the end of feb. March looks like maybe back to top 40 maybe. No events planned

Just my two cents...

Not sure what you have planned Friday, but I think you'rr better off doing the Palms Pass on Friday or Saturday. Despite the techno at Rain you will still get good music at Moon. You could have a couple drinks at Ghostbar and Rain, and then end up at Moon. The 3 or 4 times I've done the Palms Pass we've always spent by far the most time at Moon anyway.

My concern about doing the Palms Pass on Thursday would be that the clubs wouldn't fill up - this is just a guess, you may wanna talk to someone that's been recently on a Thursday. Why not do Tryst Thursday, which I'm guessing would have a better crowd than the Palms clubs. Then do the Palms pass Friday or Saturday.

Like others have said, maybe do Friday. Z-Trip may be much more your speed at Rain compared to Perfecto. Plus you get Ditch as well.
