Going to Scottsdale in a few days. Haven’t been before, but some friends from here went recently for a stag, and they said it’s a crazy party town (although I doubt it's vegas calibre). They recommended W hotel lounge, mist, and mastro’s, but i don’t know if these places are ‘tourist traps’ any suggestions on where to go, or where not to go? Looking for good ‘local’ restaurants to try, nice lounges as opposed to clubs.

i have heard that there are a lot of ferrari driving miami vice suit aviator lens wearing dbags there. nah, don't like dbags but i like watching them on reality shows.. lol

i've never been to scottsdale to party, but i know a couple of good places in tempe if you are interested.

Nice! I heard its a kick back college style town and lots of partying. You will have fun there. Yelp up that place before you go.

Royale: i can't access yelp through work, and I don't really like reading review sites cause i've been scorned one too many times.. lol

Addicted: I heard Tempe is very beautiful, is it quite close to Scottsdale? I doubt we will have a car, so we may just stay in Scottsdale and cab around there..

Cisco: Gonna fly there.. going for a party, but that's only for one night, so need to figure out what to do the other nights.

Kori--I partied in Scottsdale last November (about 14 months ago). The rooftop lounge at the W is pretty awesome...looks like a scene out of Entourage. It was definitely the coolest place that I went to over the three day period I was there.

Pussycat Lounge is decent...kind of a smaller club feel. The W is my top pick for sure though.

You and Cisco are correct, there are a lot of db's there, but they are pretty easy to spot.

thanks! I wonder if pussycat lounge is anything to do with Pussycat dolls.. like the one in vegas. I will look into it.

We are staying at W, i thought we'd end up at a holiday inn express or similar, so I'm excited since you say the lounge is pretty awesome!!!

can't wait to go where the weather suits my clothes.
