  • Question about vegas.com passes

    Hi everyone,

In a few weeks I will be making my first trip to Vegas from Toronto for a bachelor party.

I've read through all the JC guides and scanned this forum and had a few questions about purchasing services from the vegas.com website.

In another thread regarding wristbands at Tao, it sounds as though this site is legit. http://forums.jackcolton.com/showthread.php?t=2950

Is it safe to assume that all the products/services offered on the site are also a safe bet??? For example, ordering VIP Bottle/Table Service, such as this package... http://shop.vegas.com/clubs/tickets....src=&agent_id=

In the JC guides he warns to be careful of reservations being bumped and also warns us about the many fake passes that float around.

Am I safe to assume the packages offered from this site are legit and will not get bumped, especially since I pay in advance?

Thanks for your help guys. This forum is a great resource.

I have not used vegas.com ... I would also suggest calling the host listed on this site. I bet there's a good chance you'll get bumped or have to wait way too long booking through vegas.com. I also think you can swing a better deal at Pure than what's offered on the site. Send the host an email and deal with them. Ask them about any specials ... what they can do for you. If they don't offer a buy one get one... or buy two get one free bottle... ask about it. It has worked for me before.

I believe they've been tested and approved.

First, like kimball is saying contact the host directly, whoever is walking you to your table is going to expect a tip so you may as well have some control over at least asking where you will be sitting ahead of time instead of just being a "website buyer". In addition this gives you a direct contact at the club that you can text when you get there instead of trying to get the attention of a clipboard. You are already in for $475 after fees and "gratuity collected at club". so you should see what the host can do for you. Plus if you are quoted a 1 bottle min from a host directly it is alot more likely to stick than this deal if they need a table and you are out of alcohol.

If you are going to use vegas.com anyway, go to this thread
        http://forums.jackcolton.com/showthread.php?t=2488
and try to find the cards.

I will let the others on here drop in personal advice re: Pure, but overall it seems like many aren't too high on it. But I have never personally been.

Most of our members deal with the clubs directly. Your probably not going to get a lot of feed back on their service here. If I was going to deal with a outside service (which I wouldn't), I would at least call the club and inquire with them about that company. They would be able to give u the best answers.

As far as Pure goes... I was there once and had a great time... with no table. I might get bottles there over memorial day weekend with my bachelor party group becasue it's not the hot spot on the strip anymore... that way I have more pull trying to work out the best deal ... most bottles for the best price.

Call the host and demand a buy one get one... ask for something.

I've always had fun at Pure. It just got old for me. I had some friends go there recently and they enjoyed it.

Vegas.com passes work, I can testify that the tao passes work.

But really, if you have a better than 1:1 ratio you should just try to contact a host and get on the guest list, that's essentially the line you pay to get in through vegas.com anyway.

This is assuming you aren't going on a very busy holiday weekend or something.
