  • Best Suite for the $$$$

I am planning my own bachelor party this time. Thinking about September, and I wanted to get the jump on getting a nice suite. Going to have around 15 guys going, and I wanted the forum's opinion on where to stay.

The previous bachelor party that I planned, we had two, 2-bedroom Hospitality Suites at the Mirage. Each was 1800 sq. ft with 3 beds total, and it was a nice set-up for about $350 a night per room. We want to do something different this time. I was thinking about getting one baller-ass suite for everyone to hang out in, entertain for afterhours, etc., and then just getting a couple of standard rooms for everybody else to crash in.

So, any advice on a suite big enough to sleep 4-6 ppl, but with some serious wow factor. Currently considering the 2-bedroom suites at Palms Place, and the Terrace Suite at the MGM. Would like to stay at (or around) $1,000 a night for the suite, as we will be getting a couple standard rooms as well.

    Any suggestions?

Ive done the terrace suite and i would def highly highly suggest it. the terrace with jacuzzi is off the hook and its a 2 story suite with the bedroom on the second floor. we actually never went to the pool and just hung on the terrace all day. other choices are the villas at palms pool, and the multi story suites at mgm, tho the price might be steep, but they also have more bedrooms

Thanks for the input. The jacuzzi on the Terrace does look pretty awesome....I can picture a pretty crazy-ass afterhours party there.

I will check out your other suggestions as well.

Anyone stayed at a 2-bedroom suite in the Palms Place? How far is the walk from the Palms Place to the casino floor?

              Hi Vega$,

the walk to the Casino at Palms takes about 5 min (including the elevator from your room), but it's all on a conveyor, so you'll make it even when you're drunk .

I've stayed at the 1BR Suite and as far as I know, the 2br is a 1br and a studio combined.

The 1br is awesome. Fireplace, Jacuzy bathtub in the bedroom. I can highly recommend it!

                Bababooey--

It would appear that way, but I have planned every trip we have taken to Vegas together over the past 5 years, and there is no way that they could ever plan anything better than I could (sounds egotistical, but its just the truth).

Most of my friends are used to just showing up and having a blast and not having to plan anything for themselves (b/c I always plan a good time). It was a unanimous decision by all after the last bachelor party I planned last June, that I would be planning my own. They are all great guys...I just wouldn't trust them planning a trip for 15 guys to Vegas when none of them have ever contacted a club host to negotiate a bottle deal, or figured out how to get 15 wangs into a pool party without going broke. They are in charge of the "in room entertainment" ....which I can only imagine will be a shit-show

totally agree.. if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.

there's a guy that posted a video trip report of his suite at Aria. I think the price is in your budget.

I get you, I've felt completely the same way. When I originally read your post, I thought my own future bachelor party would be way better if I planned it than if I let my friends... like with everything you just said, they wouldn't know what to do.
