Smoking?

This may be kind of a dumb question, but you guys just have to realize I live in Washington, where it is illegal to smoke within 25 feet of the entrance or window to any restaurant/bar etc, and theres certainly no smoking INSIDE anywhere.

So whats the situation for smokers in vegas? Can you smoke in the bars? What about the clubs? Or do you have to go all the way out and deal with reentry to have a smoke?

I think you can smoke anywhere except for in restaurants... I saw people smoking in clubs

The only place that I've heard of that you can't smoke is the second level of the Venetian where all of the shops and stuff are. Might be the same for all of the malls and such...

I believe you can't smoke anywhere in City Center but Aria. Most restaurants don't let you smoke either unless you're on a patio of some kind. However if you ever venture far enough, I once found a Denny's that's asked,"smoking or non-smoking".

Following the passage of the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act, smoking is allowed in the following places:

* Gaming areas of casinos;
* Stand-alone bars, taverns and saloons (bars that don’t serve food);
* Strip clubs or brothels;
* Retail tobacco stores; and
* Private residences, including those used as an office workplace except if it is used as a childcare or health care facility.
