Yep, the ones from vegas.com worked to perfection. Showed up around 11:30 and showed our receipt to the guys with the clipboard and we were golden. The girls in our group didn't have wristbands and were able to get in free. We didn't try to reuse them (the website says they work all wkend) so I can't comment on that part.
Highly recommended for a group of guys who don't want to drop 2G's on bottle service.
VIP All Access to Tao/Lavo-includes unlimited access to Tao (Thurs.-Sat.) and Lavo (Thurs.-Sun.) nightclubs. Wristbands to be picked up from Chris Jordan, door manager at Tao between 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. Wristbands cannot be picked up on Sundays. (Includes: Admission)
do the wristbands get you line by pass? or just free admission?
I was wondering the same thing myself.
I just purchased the VIP ALL Access Pass for the Palms on wanttickets and it says it includes VIP Express Admission, whereas the link to the Tao Wristbands just says VIP All Access and nothing about express admission. Hopefully one of the Vegas veterans on this site can help us out.
Past Trips
2010-April 30-May 3 (Mayweather-Mosley Weekend)
2011-May 25-June 1 (Memorial Day Weekend)
2012-May 4-May 9 (Mayweather-Cotto Weekend)
Has anyone purchased the bottle service package off vegas.com? $1281 for 2 bottles of Goose (including gratuity) and admission for 8 guys seems fairly inexpensive.

Most of us have only used the wristbands which is No Line/No Cover. A representative from the 9 group told me passes waive cover, but there will be a line.
Tao is different. Two different companies, just sold by wanttickets.

I saw that too. I'm wondering how it works out as well. I have a feeling they stick you downstairs in the lounge area, where you'd be pretty hard pressed to fit 8 guys in at those tables. I was with 2 friends there a while ago, and that was just enough room.

yeah prob lounge area or tao beach. BUT arent bottles $350-$450??? Is that really a good deal????
Honestly, if you think youve found a good deal, you should call a direct host and tell them about it. So far, everyone Ive seen do that has had their price matched or beaten. Never hurts to shop around, and/or ask more questions.
I do plan on contacting a host to see if they'll match. The reason I was thinking its a good deal is b/c last yr some clubs had a $100 increase on bottles on MDW. At Tryst and Tao that's $595 (or $575) for Goose. After 20% to the waitress and a couple hundred to the VIP host you're looking at $1600-$1700.

Did you have to wait in line?
What happens in Vegas, well it happens there, duh.
