Everyone is so right, I may do this AOD thing solo. Royale had a really good point at not sharing a bathroom. I can just take all my stuff and use up the WHOLE counter space! Amazing!

I am a mess when I drink a lot and sleep. When I went last August K found me sleeping naked with one high heel on. I had a bottle of Mailbu in the bed with me and a half eaten slice of pizza was at the foot of my bed. (at least she tucked me in and helped conceal my shame)

Safe to say, sleeping alone isnt always a bad thing.

AS far as going downtown I REALLY need to do that. I have done to vegas so many times and I NEVER go downtown. It's a shame.

Downtown is more of like an old western style town type of party atmosphere, and thats the type of crowd it tends to attract. Cheap booze, cheap food, but sometimes very rowdy people. Not much clubbing or pool parties going on down there

Sometimes it can be fun to play cheap table games w/ good rules and cheap beer. But I agree that there's not much else to do there. Took a trip to the El Cortez downtown last trip just to play some blackjack- man that place is where dreams go to die...

I love going downtown...for the day, only though. Sunday brunch at GN, then craps there and the other casinos...the crowd can be unsavory which is why I usually leave by 6.

I've really enjoyed downtown, were actually going to take a trip in March and show them how AOD rolls!!! Taking a limo downtown!!! hahaha

LMAO! No, that hasn't happened to me...but that's pretty funny. I was last dt in march 09, played craps for hours at golden nugget...I love playing craps there, definitely my favorite place to play...the crowd was great, giving me free chips-$25 and $50!! it was crazy- to play with b/c it was my bachelorette...I always have fun at GN...it's like old school vegas b/c it's still a nice casino, not run down like the others. I'm always up for it, but with the pool parties during the day, I don't usually get a chance to go in the summer

I think it's fun to make a gambling excursion to downtown casinos like the Golden Nugget, Four Queens, Binion's, etc. I'd avoid hanging out too long (if at all) at the El Cortez, though. That place was just too seedy and desperate for my tastes...
