NASCAR Race weekend - 2/26-3/1

So me and my boys are coming out next weekend for the NASCAR Race and want some ideas on what else to get into. We will be taken care of up at the Marriott Rampart but want to get to the strip for some fun at least one or two nights. Any suggestions on spots to be or parties to go to would be great!!!

If you're into house/techno/electro, you def wanna check out Rain on Saturday nights. The fire and light show will blow you away.

XS, Vanity, and The Bank seem to be the top 3 clubs, but I've yet to go to any of them.

You guys will be on a kind of tight schedule, I would assume Friday is going to be your big party night. You can go to any of the big clubs and be fine.

If you don't want to grease or get a table or show up early and wait in line, go with the Palms wristband, otherwise any of the top clubs mentioned on the site will be good to go.

Saturday if you are not doing the Nationwide race, I would just take time to walk the strip, check out city center, do some drinking at the more casual places because I imagine you may to crash earlish to get to tailgaiting early because.....well it's NASCAR (I go to Dover and Richmond). If thats the case, check out places like Cleopatras Barge, Carnival Court etc


Also you are kind of staying in no mans land looking at it, I have no idea what the Marriott is costing you or what the cancellation fee may be, but I think you could probably get a better deal on a strip casino and get the shuttle service they are offering from TI or the Trop (Both easy to get to. In the long run it may be cheaper than renting a car (and someone not being able to drink at the clubs) or getting cab service to and from airport, to the strip, and to the race.

Gives you the Vegas feeling of being on the strip, noone has to stay sober during the race to drive if you do a rental car, and when you get back from the race Sunday you will still have the ability to go party (Bank or Vanity) without debating if it is worth the 15 mile or so cab ride.

What is the Palms wristband? Is that just for clubs there at the Palms or what? We plan to roll every night and make the most of this trip.

Just for the 4 bars/clubs at the palms. ghostbar, rain, moon, playboy. Do a search for "wristbands" and you'll find a ton of info.

No you definitely cannot pass that up, Awesome deal

The Palms wristband is basically no wait entry into any of the palms clubs, they also have a hosted bar option. Search the site for threads on it, you will see a ton of details.
