    What does everyone think of GVR's The District?

    Can't find any listed prices on there. I don't think you can get the sqft/dollar like with the foreclosed home. I can see these priced as high as some of the 4 bdroom houses with huge front/back yards.

          Yeahh.. but it's awesome location

          I think if I bought anything, it would for sure be a condo.. I couldn't leave a home alone over there. It would be destroyed pretty quick

            fyi, I am in the industry and I am currently watching the market very closely in vegas and looking to dive in when i see a bottom. I can tell you that if you are looking to buy a condo in vegas you will almost definitely need all cash to do so. The LV market is so volatile that lenders will not lend money on condos due to the fact that today the condo will be worth X and in 3 weeks the same condo could be worth 20-30% less. It will be this way until the foreclosures begin to slow for a full quarter or even more.

              As a Canadian I can only do it with cash Your banks won't lend to me..

              You will let us know when you feel it is a good time, right?

                    haha wow I didn't think about the Canadian thing.. but with condos, you do know you have to pay association fees on the property forever right? So there will be regular expenses incurred even if you are not using it full time...
