i know technically it's 'general discussion,' but it'd be nice to have a specific section to go to for music and shit rather than having to dig through 30 pages to find a few relative threads.

Problem is, the more forums you make, the more you dilute the already existing ones. As well, this board's meant for discussing Vegas, right? I think one off topic forum's enough? Just my opinion...

+1......Im all for new Vegas sections, but we only need 1 off topic section.

i thought that, but on the other hand i thought it'd be nice to have a place to discuss movies/music/sports/tv.... no one goes to general discussion looking for topics like that. i gotta dig through a shit load of pages to find a couple of relative topics. thought it'd be nice to discuss things like that on here, too, and it woulda been easy to do with it's own section. doesn't have to be though, it's cool. i don't have to come here when i need to talk about the latest season of dexter or the buzzer beater kobe just made... woulda been nice to, that's all.

the buzzer beater kobe made is discussed often. even has its own thread, just like football. both threads are in the off topic section. If we were to make that section, it would have to be a sub-section of the off topic section.

have you used the "new post" button? It brings up any thread that has a "unread" post in it. you should only be searching for old threads/topics if your using the new post button.

new posts is on the too bar up top between "members list" and "search" There is also a new post button on each thread with an unread post (this is just a picture with like down arrow or something, if you move your mouse over it, it says go to first unread post).

As for sports, there's a football thread on this first page, a vancouver thread on this page as well. The lakers thread is on page 2 with the last post from 2/9. los of kobe talk in there.

and threads in the what were they thinking section could all pass for threads in general discussion as well, what i presented would have gotten more people talking than there are in that section. no one thinks to come on here to discuss a tv show or movie or new amazing song we just discovered. i just thought it woulda been nice to come here for those reasons too, but it's fine.
