"Working"...although I did go out on a first date last night with a girl who somehow neglected to mention that she has a kid til we got back to her place to hang out.

Will probably go hang out at Fallsview Casino.

I went up there for a tournament series in 2008 and I put both my room and a friend's room on my credit card. My friend ended up winning one of the preliminary events and went out to party with some other friends and random people. I was in the middle of a cash game at the time and stuck tons so I elected not to go. The party ended up back at my friend's room (a non-smoking room) and they baked it out and completely trashed it. Hotel security got up there and saw the situation, needless to say they weren't too pleased about it.

When I eventually heard about this I had been playing for about 31 hours straight so I wasn't thinking too clearly and wasn't in the best of moods already. My friend was paying for all the damage and I wasn't even in the hotel at the time, but I was informed that I'd be receiving a 1-year ban from the hotel AND casino b/c the room was on my cc (lol, makes perfect sense). My response was a bit belligerent and I made quite a few disparaging remarks about the hotel management and security, the casino, and Canada in general. As a result, my ban period was upped to 2 years.

Fallsview isn't exactly on my shortlist of regular hangout spots so I didn't see any reason to push the issue further. I'm not even sure how strictly those bans are actually enforced for something that isn't a major offense, so I could probably go back sooner if I really wanted to (which I don't).
