I was told before you need 6000 points for a free room. I have a coworker who plays slots in Detroit 2 nights a week and gets free room offers everywhere... but he plays a lot.
I get very good room rate deals. Over superbowl weekend I paid $40 a night at NYNY.

i had 2,000 points and i was getting 3 night offers from pretty much all mgm casinos, and still am... so you don't need 6,000 points... i've got 3,000 now and still get the same shitty 3 night deluxe room deals. i wanna get to a level where they give suites and show tickets n shyt

When I called once... I was told 6000... who knows. As far as getting the rainman suite... I have no idea.

I think you need to be dropping a few g's a night each trip to be getting rainman suites. works2r usually gets hooked up with those suites. He doesn't come on here much anymore, but I'd say shoot him a pm and ask what sort of play he has with them.

Rainman suite was a joke, I was just quoting Swingers.
I just wanna get to the next level, anything above the worst rooms available, and some restaurant coupons and show tickets or some shit like that

Baba, in my experience, My comfort level is 50 min up to 200 a hand of black jack (depending how the table is) I never buy in more then $5oo a sitting (hate to buy in for more to double). And Ill allocate around 3-4 grand per tip. Although I only go to Vegas maybe once a year (hopefully more). I go to AC and MGM at Foxwoods around i would say once a month.
With that all said for this trip to Vegas in march my host in AC gave me 2 higher level rooms for 3 nights free, they offered me suites, but with having to sleep 8 people, two joining rooms best fit my needs. Plus they gave me a third room for 50 a night. I do get ticket offers and meal comps (normally 100) a trip. Best thing is to get a host ( If you have one get to know your host) every time you visit call them up and make a point of seeing them during your trip. If you do gamble with a lot of cash don't be shy ask, them for a suite and tell them if they cant comp you when you arrive, have them revisit your play at the end of your stay. If your play or losses your warrant a suite they will have no problem taking care your whole trip.
One hard lesson I learned early on is, dont try to gamble loads of money just to get free shit. You will find your self blowing 4 times the amount, rather then just paying for the room your self.

I've gotten most of my points through slot play, I believe... and I get the same offers now at 3,000 points as my friend does under 1,000.
Yeah, I should see about getting a host... what does that really mean, though? Would I have to always stay at the same casino just so I can check in with the same host?

No... the host can help you out at any related MGM property.
i don't have one, but what my friends who do say it's a couple ways. You can call up the players club number and ask to talk to a host. Or while you are playing slots or something, ask one of the employees if they can send a host over. Boom relationship started.

Bada bing, bada boom.
Do you know if it's possible to get two comped rooms in two dif casinos at the same time?
