I know, i'm sorry!!! it's just that some of the vancouver fans are such poor winners.. and poor losers too. lol. just watched a bunch of idiots knocking down mailboxes and newspaper boxes, and picking fights with tourists wearing russia shirts after the shootout win of canada v switzerland game last week.

i went to the victory ceremony tonight and the crowd cheered for everyone (even the russians!!!)

i'm glad to hear that! cause i have heard that some of the russian and dutch athletes have been complaining that canadians haven't been very welcoming/hospitable. that's embarassing since we're hosting it.

Sorry I didn't log on all weekend..but i did just to see your response I guess no-one else cares about hockey..
But I m happy to see the Sharks get their gold. I really hope this inspires them to bring the cup back as well. US definitely put themselves on the map and they are a young team that will be back even stronger next olympics.

I grew up in Fresno so the Sharks were our "local" team.. and I live 10 mins from the Ponda Center
