  • How Much To Tip?

    Hey guys,

I would like to know, whats a good tip for the host that books your table at a club?

try running a search on that question, its been asked a few times before so the answer will be around somewhere.
otherwise provide a bit more info. i.e. number of people, if its a holiday weekend etc

I think anything between 160-200 would be more than fine as a tip.

IT all depends on how good of a host you have... it the host checks up on you a lot to make sure you are doing ok and having a good time, that is a good host and you should tip them more. If the host just walks you in and does nothing after that then dont tip much (i have been known to tell people not to tip at all) It also depends on how many bottles you are getting. Remember that they are already chraging you a %20 percent gratutiy off the top $50 for both you server and host per bottle is what we give most of the time

So if there are 3 of us doing bottle service in mid April at say XS on the Saturday what would be the right amount per person to tip the host? Also what would happen if we didn't tip the host at all? Personally it seems outrageous to tip somebody say over $50 just to walk you up to your table and check on you a couple of times, especially when a bottle you are paying $450 for a bottle which in a liquor would cost no more than $40!

welcome to the world of entertainment!!!! its no different than someone paying $500 a ticket to go see a bunch of sissies kick a round ball around a rectangular field for 3 guys id say throw the host $100 total. this is how these people make a living

My host got us a 2 bottle min which we ended up buying 3 anyways but he was a great guy to work with. Real simple and it also is a good connection to keep. I was just out there this past weekend with only 2 of us and didnt need BS but wanted to go out with out all the hassle. Txted our host who put us right on the guestlist at Tryst with comped cover. If you take care of them, they will take care of you.

What night of the week are you thinking? I would say about 125ish for the 3 of ya. Thats atleast what I would do to keep a relationship going with the host. I know it seems outrageous but its vegas and nothings cheap there!

I wouldn't call that making a living, I would call that LIVIN' LARGE.

Making a living would be if they got paid their hourly wage, and maybe got tipped a 20. That would still be considered making a good living... getting tipped a few hundy for every table they seat, god damn, now that's some serious cash! i'd love to be a host, it's like legally stealing money, except most people are gracious to be giving it to you.

I was thinking about 150-200 per night depending on the service the host gives me and the table location.
