This is going to be my 6th trip to Vegas, but the first time during the winter. In the past, it has always been in the summer and we hang out at the pool. Are there any indoor pools? What other activities do people recommend? We already know about shows, the gun range, skydiving. We mainly like to drink and hangout but is there any specific things to do or places to go regarding that?

for me....winter season is for all nighters at the rhino or drais, and just sleep in late. I also get to gamble more in the winter.Blackout Artist

not in Vegas, but here at home. its no big deal to walk in during the day. still has the same feel. walking out at 9am after an all nighter is completely different though.Blackout Artist

Has anyone seen that show "Pawn Stars" ??? That place is right up the strip. I kind of want to check it out one of these trips.
I had a friend fly in early one trip and he went and checked out Hoover Dam. I would rather just drink and gamble.Vegas Trips:

During the day when the pools are closed there are a couple things you can do.
1) SLEEEEPPPP! ! ! To prepare yourself for the night ahead.
2) Go Karting at Pole Position Raceway or Fast Lap both pretty fun pretty bad ass getting the blood pumpin and the competitiveness goin!
3) Walk, Scooter, Cruize, Bike, Segway, Scooter, Hitchhike, Powerwheel, Rollerblade, Limo Ride, Lamborghini Drive Las Vegas Blvd.
4) Explore Ballagio, Wynn, City Center, Fashon Show Mall, Miracle Mile Shops, or Town Center or the Premium Outlets...
5) Go on an adventure to find an Indoor Pool that is open to the Public and report back!Comment

I'm a girl so for me, the daylight hours in Vegas are meant for: shopping, getting my hair done, napping, and going to the spa. I mostly take it easy.
We've also done the drive to Hoover Dam (fun) and the various exhibits like the Secret Garden at the Mirage, and the sharks at Mandalay Bay.
My dad, when he goes, likes to spend his days wandering down the strip and stopping for a drink every half hour.
I've never not had a good time during the day; frankly, sometimes just being able to sit in the soaking tub and watch tv is all I need.Epic trip was epic.Comment
