I'm visualizing this, and it totally cracked me up.

Thank you. Yep, everything intact. I even stopped by a hot dog vender and ate. Great success!

BOOOO HISS HISSSSS. it's sooo good. best. sub. ever.

Besides the casino, one of the reasons I'll go out to AC from New York is for this damn sub.

what did you think of AC casinos anyways? the people, vibe, etc.
I was actually surprised by the inside of the AC casinos. Harrahs and Borgata were busy and looked great. Borgata is on par with the higher end Vegas casinos. Even the Trop and Caesars palace impressed me, especially when you compare it to the Tropicana in Vegas.

The lines for the clubs were insanely long like Vegas, but the diversity was lacking in the clubbing crowd compared to Vegas.

          Gamblers look the same everywhere.

The major difference lies in the energy, especially outside the casinos. Vegas is filled with people and energy all over the strip. AC is not. You come out of one casino and it's like you're in just a regular city with some people walking around here and there. Just not the same.

I agree 100%. Inside places like the Borgata or the Harrah's pool party at night you almost feel like you're in Vegas, but once you step outside.. forget it.

I've been to Horseshoe Casino @ Hammond many times. It's a Harrah's property, so you can use same rewards card and it's only about 15~20 min drive from Chicago.

            BUT it sucks.
The casino itself is not that bad. They have many tables and slots and the layout is good enough. It's just the people inside. You can tell the people there are the kind of people that shouldn't be gambling with their money...
And the casino doesn't have a hotel. Which is a weird concept for me.

So the only reason I frequent this place is when I feel like gambling a little and stocking up on rewards points for when I go to Vegas.
