Daytona Beach

Hey guys,

I'm heading down to Daytona Beach for Spring break after a Paddy's day rugby tournament in Georgia. Just wondering if people have been there before if they know where the best places to go are/pool parties/drunken college girls etc etc

I've heard that Lake Tahoe in the summer is 10x better than Daytona Beach...

Daytona Beach isnt what it used to be. It was a great Spring Break spot like 7 years ago but it has died down, so has Panama City Beach. In the south east most people on Spring break are coming to Miami and either partying here, or going out on cruises. Also lots of people going to Mexico (Cozumel and Cancun and Acapulco). Not to say people arent in Daytona partying, but its just not what it used to be.

It starting winding down about 12 years ago when I went there for spring break, you can def have a good time but in mid march the weathr could be a little chilly, if it were me i'd go further south to miami

I have family in the area and was there early March 2009. Great time Daytona Bike week was just finishing and spring break was just starting. Beautiful weather the whole time, plenty of bikini clad girls on the beach...."girls gone wild" was in town and filming at a local bar.
My cousin manages condo's if you need one. I think they are for a week stay or longer though.
