Birthday hook-ups

Gonna be hittin' up Vegas on my bday this Friday, and I'm wondering if anyone here has any stories about getting comped/hooked up with sh!t on their birthday?

I've heard a couple stories, one getting 5,000 points automatically when signing up for players club @ palazzo, and another person getting a bottle of champagne.

Just ask... and tell everyone it's your birthday. A few years ago I was there for an ex-girlfriend's b day. We told the front desk at the Palms it was b day and got upgraded to a sweet room in the fantasy tower.

I think if you already have points on your player's card you'll get free offers for your bday.

let the front desk know it's your bday, and any clubs you go to and I'm thinking they will waive your admission, and possible free upgrade. it doesn't hurt to ask, the worst they can say is no.
if I go with a guy, I sometimes say it's a honeymoon, and get a free upgrade that way. I can't see why a birthday would not work.

I've seen a guy on the plane get moved up to a better seat after telling the flight attendant it's his birthday as well..

Todai in Miracle Mile shops, I think it's free for the birthday person for dinner.. and there's always Denny's on the strip too if you wanna eat classy on your bday..

yeah, i do get free offers, but they're not specifically for my birthday, they're the same free offers i get year-round. have less than 3000 pts on my mgm players club card (with 2 visits) and the best i get comped are pretty much the worst rooms they have

Basically, as marc and I got on the plane (in matching gucci scarves) he realised the air steward greeting people was overtly Ghey. Seening this, he put his arm around me, and in the campest voice possible said "my boyfriend and I are going to vegas to get married - how cool is that?!"

The air steward responded with "OMG! that is like, so cute!" Marc then giggled.

We sat down, and about 5 mins later he came back and just told us to grab our stuff and follow him and he walked us straight through to upper class!
