1st time vegas stag party

Hi folks,

Just wondering if you could help me out, planning my stag week to Vegas soon, probably 10 or 15 of us coming out, really looking forward to it.

Can anyone give us some suggestions on what we can get up to, apart from the usual Strippers etc as we can do that here in Aberdeen!

Also, I know there is no chance of us getting into a club if we waited in line so we'll have to do bottle service, would we be refused if we were in traditional Scottish dress - Kilts

Welcome Scotland! I think you guys will have the time of your life in Vegas. I have seen and heard stories of how much the ladies enjoy the kilts.....(Ahem....SoCal).

Ok as a Glaswegian who has taken a couple of stag trips in the past I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you read this and follow it up- if going to vegas as a group again i would ONLY use this service as described below and let them organise our trip. Taking guys to vegas and getting into clubs is not as easy as it sounds, and getting local access is key (and boy do I know)..

1. Look at the website www.totalexperiences.com which is a service run by Harrah's (who own several casino hotels including Caesars, Planet Hollywood, Paris...) and is a new service for groups staying in their hotels.

2. We used this service last year, see video link below.. It was the best week we have ever had, not just in vegas, but in life!

3. They organised everything for us, nightclub entry (even for other hotels than Harrah's properties) booked golf times, discounted rooms, restaurant tables and show tickets. They also suggested some of the better evening establishments to visit- and the service was free as we stayed in Caesars Palace.

4. The service is run from Vegas, but Dani is based in the UK- send her an email [email protected] and see if she can help you- (and say hello from me, as she knows me as she organised our trip and was in Vegas when we were there)

5. anything else I can help you with- clubs, hotels etc, am happy to assist.

I think the forum is great, and gave me a load of good ideas where to go and what to do when I am in vegas, with some current trends, however, i don't see what is bullshit.

Organising a group of guys on a trip to vegas, and getting hotels, clubs etc organised from the UK is NOT easy.

And of all the times I have been to Vegas, meeting with someone who is based in the UK, whose job it is to sort out british trips, with a big british presence (Harrah's have about 10 casinos in the uk) was certainly is the easiest..

...look I have organised 3 trips of brits to las vegas. I do not want to be meeting a number hosts when i go out there for the first time for a number of different clubs, and when i tried it i had mixed results. It is NOT the ONLY way to get into clubs, but it is the difference between say using a travel agent to organise your holiday and tie the whole lot up for you giving you more time to relax and enjoy, or booking bits individually, and dealing with odds and ends internationally or when you get there.

Sorry if you feel that way, but IMO for UK groups going to the US and Vegas for a stag, I would recommend at least looking at the aforementioned website and emailing to see if they can do anything.

The forum is to offer advice, the poster asked for it... that's my advice!

and which bit do you disagree about.. I was born on Duke St Maternity Hospital (no longer there) and grew up in Glasgow. My last home was on Victoria Road, in Pollokshields East, properly known as Strathbungo!

I now live in London and work in property.

sorry, I didnt realize how hard it was to book stuff in the UK. I didnt realize your internet connection was limited to ONLY surfing forums. 90% of my stays are with the Harrahs group and I manage to book everything through the internet. I guess technology is a lot further advanced here.

The majority of Vegas vets here have proven over and over that its ALWAYS best to deal with the clubs directly over an outside service. Its also the one of the foundations of the website.

The majority of your post seem to revolve around that website. It makes it really suspect.

you try and book more than 4 rooms on the harrah's website for more than 5 nights, with packages guaranteeing you a particular type of room- the website doesn't do it and it can't be done, which is how i discovered the TE service, because i COULDN'T book my trip on the internet!

Also many of us the UK don't have total rewards points cards and are therefore ineligible for the "discounts" that US customers get as standard.

I only input where I can be of help-

Otherwise commenting on threads where i offer no value is a waste of my, and the forum's time, and where others have better insight to me, I keep quiet.

when I hear of UK groups organising groups going on a stag to vegas i share my experiences and insight. If someone asks about bottle service or hot clubs, i leave that to someone else...

hey there Scottie,

I've not travelled in such a big group, so I'm not sure how much you want to get pre organised before you go - but it shouldn't be a big deal to sort somethings out by email before you leave.

Before our halloween trip I emailed a couple of clubs and got guest listed easily enough. Making a deal out of coming all the way from the UK probably helped as I got very sweet personal replies back. In the end we only went to one of the clubs we got pre guestlisted on...plans change easily in vegas, so don't worry too much in advance.
Have an idea about which clubs are good on which nights, JC was super helpful for us figuring that out. But we also changed plans because we wanted to meet up with people we met out there. I'm sure you guys will too

You'll probably want to do the strip club thing a couple of times, call them up and get them to send a limo - it's free and you'll get free entry too (these guys call it comped entry).

Have you thought about seeing a game - i think baseball is on at the mo - the yanks can fill you in. But i think it involves sitting around drinking, so it could be fun!

The kilts will mean you get laid very easily! Heck it works if you wear one in England, so it's def going to work over there!

The hotel will probably let you dial locally for free btw, so you can call and make plans and arrangements when you're there - but I found texting within the US is included in my contract with O2, so that's helpful too.

Bigol - I get that you had a good time using that service, but I think it's prolly a bit of a waste of money compared to using the info on here. Over NYE a big gang were out and about in LV and got some good places to eat and hang out in a group (Dicks and PF changs from what I hear).

Any hotels you can recommend? I've heard you can get complimentary upgrades if you slip the receptionist a few dollars?
