Soccer World Cup in South Africa

Since there a lot of international forum members, I was wondering if anybody out there is planning to go to the World Cup in June Maybe even some americans are going. I know I am, baby!!

I went to the 2006 WC in Germany. Probly best week ever for me.
Soo, I would love to go to South Africa. I just saw in some newspaper that not all tickets are gone yet, so I am actually thinking of tryin it out for a week or so.

May be tough because of work, but I'll make an effort at least. Will check this thread and update if plans get more realistic.

Yup, lucked out and got my tix during phase 2. Planning on doing the east coast->vegas for May AOD and early wsop->SA for WC->vegas gauntlet...can't wait.

That's a very noble goal... I'll do my best with brazilian ones. I'm taking the route London-South Africa, just to save a couple thousand on the plane... funny how by traveling farther away, it gets cheaper.

i have a friend who travelled brazil and the rest of south america. he also worked in the US. his take on it: difference between beautiful women in brazil and rest of the world is that brazilian chicks live on black beans and rice. rest of the world some other shit. hence, the firmness of brazilian bodies are unrivalled. so give up dutch. hit the brazilian classes hard.

I am planning on going. Chillin, I envy you. I've been a supporter of the Dutch since the days of Marco van basten and Ruud Gullit. I'm working on connect to get some tickets. It's funny because hopefully I'll get to meet up with some boys from Australia I met in vegas last summer. It's going to be a good summer.
