Also, the "suites" that they upgrade you to (if available) are pretty basic. They are really just oversized rooms rather than a true suite.

They are constantly putting up deals for The Hotel where you can get suites for weeknights for anywhere from 69-89 dollars on weeknights and 109-139 on weekends. Regular rooms for Mandalay can be found for even cheaper with a little looking as long as you can fit your dates in.

I got the $109 deal at THE Hotel for Memorial Day weekend. They even gave me that rate for 3 rooms.

I would agree that rooms at Mandalay are more just oversized... I have been in three... but they are all much nicer than your standard room.

WOW thanks Aria..I used this and booked a rm for MMDW. Rates were $140 Sun nt May 30, $70 for Memorial day, $76 Tue& Wed. vs the $200,$100,$110,$110, that Mandalay Bay themselfs were offering. Plus can cancel up to 48 hr's in advance. Yay.
