sweater vests or not

Ok, this is serious, my ability to club depends on it!

I am not opposed to wearing my suit to go out. I enjoy rocking a suit (2 piece), no tie, leather shoes.

I wonder, if I can wear a crisp pair of jeans, a shirt with a collar and a sweater vest instead of a suit.

I am not sure if sweater vests are even in or out of style, I wear them in Michigan because its cold as hell.

I hardly wear a tie.

WHat do you all think?

I don't want to be team dude and wear my shirt with the top button undone and the shirt untucked. NOt unless I do something with it, plus it might be cold at night.

Sweater vests always remind me of professeurs (only cause I had a memberable prof who always wore one, even in the warmer months). But if it works for you and doesn't make you look stuffy... Shouldn't be a problem.

Slave - wear what ever the hell you want mate! Clubs aren't that strict out there in my opinion, i never got stopped from going in in shoes, jeans and a decent t-shirt.

it depends what it looks like.. and the rest of your outfit and your look.. I've seen guys rock sweater vests and look good in them.. but it also has the potential to be kinda dorky...

if you want to play it safe, lose the vest..

I am colorblind, so I tend to wear blue, black, gray and white. Solids.
