Its not bad.. there are plenty of moving escalators that can get you there quickly. Especially from Tower #1. Tower #3 might take you an extra few minutes. If you need to go anywhere, just ask the valet to get you a cab.

As many of the regular forum readers will be aware of, me and 10 others will be heading to Vegas in April and and are staying at the MGM Signature based on 3 to a room, with one room having 2 people in it. The question which I have is do you guys think this is the best place for us to stay bearing in mind this is our first trip to Vegas. Ive spoken to a few people that I know have been and stayed there and they have told me it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the MGM grand main area. I was thinking that for a first time trip maybe we would be better changing to either Caesars Palace, The Venetian, Palazzo, The Wynn or Encore. All the above mentioned hotels are slightly more central located, and I also thought that it would possibly be easier to tip the front desk receptionist for a free room upgrade? All feedback would be much appreciated!

I noticed that you did not mention The ARIA Resort and Casino in your list of possible places to stay.

The ARIA should definitely be on your list of choices if not THE place to stay!

Its brand new, has state of the art room technology, the pools will be open by then, it has a huge selection of both casual and fine dining, a spa second to none, and most of all it has a tram that provides convenient complimentary access to Monte Carlo, Crystals and Bellagio which is right where you want to be!

Don't forget about the nightclubs too for you and your mates! HAZE at ARIA is AWESOME!

As for this city centre project, it just simply does not do it for me, for me Vegas is all about the party not some sort of community project!
Haha you never know if they are this desperate they may start to offer some bogof deals!

Because noone's been!! I imagine it is going to be alright, but JC himself got to see all the clubs post NYE, he came out raving about how good vanity is (hence we all went) and said that Haze is an awesome place, but nothing special.

City Centre is an incredible complex though, looks amazing (lacking a bit in atmosphere when we went though...) but the aria casino is the nuts, it's awesome, and in the evenings they have the best free drinks policy for gamers of all the casinos I went to. I was playing poker in there, got offered a drink as I sat down, and then when they came back to give me my drink the guy sat next to me told me to order my next one as I would be done with the first by the time it got back - excellent advice! I was just ordering drinks non stop, and they arrive just as you finish the previous one. Great service!

There is a bare in aria too calle The Deuce - hands down the hottest cocktail waitress I saw in Vegas - recommend it!

And no I missed it, am currently in the Ukraine with work - will look it up when I get back!
