  • 21st Birthday!

    Hi all!

I know this is kind of early but I need to get an idea of how much Ill be spending so I can start saving and get an idea of wether or not its what I want to do.
Ill be turning 21 in Feb 2010 and have never been to Vegas before, I live in Australia!
I'll be coming with one of my friends (a girl) and we will both be celebrating our 21st birthdays.
We want to stay somewhere fun and we want to party! Money is kinda secondary but realisticly we would probably have a budget of $1000US a day each, and will be staying in vegas for around about 3 or 4 days.
Any reccomendations of places to stay??
The only thing is, and Im trying to say this without sounding shallow, my friend is not the best looking girl around and im worried that if its just the two of us we will have a hard time getting into the bigger clubs. Is bottle service worth it for just the two of us?

Any advice or tips you can give would be amazing!

Unless your big gamblers, you should be fine on money.

As far as Hotels, I usually stay close to Drais (afterhours club). I prefer to be closer to hotel at the end of the night vs the beginning. Theres so many to choose. Just pick one based on price AND location.

Are you a girl? 2 girls vs 1 guy 1 non-attractive girl makes a difference on how I answer the rest of your questions.

Id pick which club you wanna go to, and shoot a text, or call any of the VIP host on this page http://www.jackcolton.com/reservations.htm .Say "Can you please add 2 females to the guest list? Your name +1". They will respond with no problem or got it. Ive personal dealt with Shawn Olyaie, Justen Crews, and Chad Dallas, and have no problems. If you want your own table then, use the same list for bottle service too. Just be sure and get to the club early.

As far as where to go, Id re-ask about a month before you go. A lot can change in a year. My favorite club is probably TAO on a thur. night, but things always change.

Hey, I'm actually from Australia as well and for my 21st got given a trip to Vegas. I'll be in Vegas from the 17th till 25th February. I'm a guy and will be traveling with another guy and a girl. We plan to stay at Planet Hollywood.

Do you guys reckon we will have any problems getting into the bigger clubs just buy showing up or are we better getting bottle service or vip hosts like vegasbaby asked?? and which clubs would you recommend?? also is february too cold to hit any of the pool clubs??

and also, in sydney we have a problem at some clubs, you can lie up for an over 30 mins and even if your dressed fine you can still get rejected because its "guest list only" or some dumb excuse like that, is it the same kind of fate in vegas??? or is it that as long as your dressed fine and look presentable you'll get it??

Im also wondering, ive read jack's dress code guide, but he doesnt really clarify what kind of jeans you can wear... right now in australia tight jeans(not ultra tight) are the thing to wear, either dressed up with leather shoes and buttoned shirt, or funky with t-shirt, thin tie, vest and chuck taylor all stars shoes... are you able to get into clubs dressed like that?? or do you guys have other kind of recommendations?

would appreciate any kinds of tips or advice!!

*Pools in feb. is not the best time of the year for that

I never have any problems. Sometimes I dont even have to pay cover. Dont get me wrong, bottle service can make things easier, and more comfortable. But I personally, have never had problems getting in on the guest list.
