  • Looking for some deep house

    Hi,

    I'm an absolute dinosaur who loves to dance. In my home town of Sydney I go to a select set of venues that play some deep, funky house and where nobody hassles a 40+ year old guy on the dance floor.

    I'm visiting Vegas next week (Tuesday through Thursday) and was wondering if there was a club or two that would be good to visit.

    International DJs I've enjoyed recently include Pepe Bradock, Dave Aju, Peret Mako and Theo Parrish to give you an idea of my fave dance DJs.

    Any suggestions?

    // Tony

        Dogeater,

        I find it hard to name tunes as I only listen to it while dancing. If you go to http://madracket.com.au/music.html you'll find a bunch of mixes by my favourite Aussie DJs. Simon Caldwell's August 09 mix is one I play a lot at the moment.

        Royale,

        Well, I'm in Vegas Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week. How will Tao be Thursday night?

          Tao on Thursday nights are great, but I m not sure if they necessarily play deep house there. Eric Morillo was spinning on a Sunday when I was there, and it was a special event. Tao does house nights very well, but it is usually a special event.

            it's an afterhours, but Drai's plays a lot of progressive and deep house when I was there.. there's a diverse age range so no one would hassle a 40+ I think it's open from Thursday to Sunday only though.. I'm sure someone else here has more info.
            Have fun!

              Yeah, both Tao and Drai's are Thursday to Sunday. I'm really hoping for something on Tuesday or Wednesday night.
