Tuesday night bday thoughts for 3/9

I'm headed to Vegas for the 311 day festivities from 3/9 to 3/13. Never been to Vegas before.

I'm looking for an obnoxious Tuesday night activity to ring in the big 2-5. Tuesday doesn't exactly look like a hot night for Vegas but I hear Pure, LAVO, and the Palms clubs are the popular venues. I've seen very mixed reviews for LAVO and Pure, so I am sort of skeptical about both. Any good, what's the vibe?

There will be 2-4 guys coming with and my gf. I hear it's industry night @ the Palms/Moon, but don't know exactly what that entails. Is the line extra redic? Is there even anywhere to sit/chill if you're not doing bottle service? I assume I should go with wrist bands and put my gf on the list. I'm sort of hesitant to do this in fear of problems @ the door. I'm thinking I prob should do bottle service. What can I expect to pay for bottle service on Tuesdays @ the Palms clubs?

Sorry for all the questions...Just trying to have a general idea of whats up before I get there! I'm very open to any other Tuesday night suggestions. Please chime in!

industry shouldnt really have lines since its just that people in the industry who all have hooks and are taken care of. you shoukld be fine even without the wristbands, but id just buy the wristbands since the covers will be more anyway and youll be covering all bases for the guys and put you gf on the list for each placem bottle prices will be 400-450 per with prob one bottle for every 3 peeps. hope this helps!

i'm one of those peeps with mixed reviews for Pure and Lavo. Neither is BAD, just..... i don't know. Pure CAN be fun on some nights, I've been on Tuesdays when it was great and a couple that weren't so great (either because it was too crowded, not crowded enough, or the atmosphere was just wrong). I've also been to Lavo, however not on Tues. On a Thurs during the summer it was OK, but that place is teeny tiny small. Music may be a little better in Pure, but they're about what and what. Haven't been to any of the Palms spots on a weekday. So if I had to choose out of Pure and Lavo I'd probably do Pure just because it's your first time in Vegas and its a bigger name club than Lavo. And I'd definitely do bottles if its ~5 guys + 1 girl, on that ratio alone and also your girl will thank you as yes there's no place to really sit unless you pay for it... plus its just more convenient and may be more costworthy in the long run once you consider wait time, cover charge, and drinks

Is this legit? I think I'm going to skip out on the bottle service and pregame hard before we go over. I like the idea of getting admissions to 3 bars and bouncing around for $20. I assume we should get there early. Is 10:30 about right or can you hit up Playboy earlier and slide straight into Moon?

Hoping the terraces @ ghostbar and Moon aren't too cramped - the view is gonna be crucial!

I did that last summer for my group. We were 6 guys but didn't want to do bottle service at the time. They put you on the guest list, so no queue.

You also don't need to pick anything up, I was a bit confused about that. But at least we got to see Palms in daylight :P

Moon is a lot of fun on Tuesday nights. I always think it's a bit misleading for any site to make a big deal about something getting you into Moon and Playboy. Once you are into Moon, you can go into Playboy. There's an escalator up and down between the two.

I've never seen it shut off.

If its on a Tuesday, I would probably try the guestlist through the n9ne group website first.

so if we just do the guest list through n9ne, we'd still end up having to pay cover @ the door right? How much would that run, and would we still be able to bounce around by paying that 1 cover?

Either way, cover's probably $20 [went to Moon on a Sunday and it was $20 then, so I'd imagine probably same on Tuesday]. I don't know if there's much of a bother to bounce over to Ghostbar, really - it's on the opposite end of the hotel and it's yet another long wait/elevator to go up to basically a lounge. Just stick to the Playboy Lounge and head up to Moon when it opens.

Aight, i'll prob skip out on Ghostbar then. Right now it's looking like 3 guys, 2 girls. I'll put everyone on the list on n9negroup.com the week before. Hopefully the girls will get in free @ the door. My girl and I are headed to Mystere which should be over by 9:00. The other 3 will be getting shitfaced while we are at the show. I'm hoping to pregame hard then head out. 2 of them are broke college kids who are interested in the disposable flasks. This makes me nervous. I don't think it's a good idea. Hopefully their student loans come in before the trip so I don't have to worry about it!!!

If we decide to pregame, what's the latest I'll want to get there by - or is it not that big of a deal on Tuesdays?

Been to Moon several times on Tuesday and I don't ever remember there being much/if any wait to go to Ghost Bar.
