Feb 10-14 (2nd time lucky!)

Was supposed to go with 7 mates from Ireland on Jan 6th to Vegas for 4 days but we got snowed in in London Gatwick airport and all flights were cancelled for 4 days. Utter depression!

Took us 27 hours, 4 taxi's, 3 undergrounds, 2 trains, 2 buses, 1 ferry, 1 plane and several mad sprints to get back home to Dublin from London. A trip that normally takes a short 50 min flight.

But never fear! We succesfully got full refunds on our flights and despite losing 2 guys who can't get time off work we've rebooked and shall try again on Feb 10th to party in Vegas from a base somewhere deep inside the MGM Grand.

Beware the Irish are coming (weather permitting!)

Well being from Ireland you will be pleased to know that there is an IRB Rugby sevens tournament going on there that weekend. I will be there playing in a cash tournament but that gets over on Saturday. We can meet up Saturday night, we are celebrating a bachelor party that night. Even more we are also staying at MGM and The Signature.

I booked through VBRO and got to junior suites that have one main entrance then can also be closed off from one another. Got a pretty good deal for the 4 nights as well. Looking forward to it. Did someone stay in them for the nye trip? I thought I remember that maybe the English boys were over there?

I will be captaining my uni team at the MBA Rugby World Cup in Duke, NC in April though. So lets see what standard US rugby has gotten to now they've an Irishman at the helm (again!).

Yes, LondonUK and Marrc stayed in a 2 bedroom suite there.. it was really nice!
