Figured since there was a sizable amount of Irish on this site, I'd ask what airline/airport they use for their travels to the US? I'm trying to plan a trip to Ireland later this year and heard the cheaper airport to go into was Shannon with Aer Lingus, but are there any other options [probably flying out of BWI, Philly International, or JFK]?

Thanks for the replies - seems that Delta or a combo of US Airway/Aer Lingus is the way to go from searching on Kayak, though that would be going into Dublin [which isn't too bad]. Trying to go up to Donegal as that's where my grandparents on my father's side are from [I'm setting up the whole trip for him since he's never been].
Audrieu, what's wrong with Aer Lingus? Bad experience?

Never had a good flight with them, cramped, horrible service, delays
But then I haven't flown with them in years.
If you go to dublin you gotta go to the Guinness brewery, I swear the Guinness tastes worse per mile it gets away from that place.
If you want to go to Donegal you might want to fly into Belfast (Continental fly there) that will position you between Donegal and dublin might make travel easier. And since the end of the troubles it is a good place to visit.---
