Sure. Definately not the "hot" stuff but you can have a good time there for sure. Still though... i'd look into some of the newer places just to keep the option
What are the deals?
How and where did you hear about them?

I’m going to speculate and say that he may be talking about the vegas.com VIP Package for LAX. If so, it isn’t that bad. It’s for the loft tables and includes 2 bottles for up to 6 guests. It suggests Skyy or Stoli as your choices. If you total it out to include the vegas.com processing/service fee your bottles would be equivalent to $262 each plus tax and auto-grat. Now, correct me if I’m wrong but normally the least expensive bottle on the menu runs $375. If that was the case, then the vegas.com deal is a reasonable savings. However, what happens if you exhaust your bottles and you want another because your pal Chris brought Brittany the fish back to the table and she killed 2/3 of your second bottle and its only 12:45am? You then enquire about another bottle and your lovely server hands you the bottle menu with the regular prices.
I would just go and drop an e-mail to the host listed on this site and see what you can get in the way of a buy 2 and get 1 free at regular prices and you come out better off in a cash outlay sense and probably secure a better table location. If they are offering a deal like this on vegas.com you can assume that they aren’t selling out tables and the host will have some latitude to negotiate to get people in the seats. Of course, this is all merely speculative.
Yes, Rogan is correct. Although, my group is pretty good about keeping the fish in the sea and only two bottles on the bill.
The idea of spending less than half of what we usually spend at XS or Tao sounds pretty appealing - I just don't want to be disappointed with the club and the crowd.
Obviously they wouldn't be offering deals like this if things have not slipped a bit - I just want to get an idea of how much ...
I have not been to LAX but my coworker went on the Wednesday before nye and he said the dance floor was to small, too crowded. He then went to xs that following sunday and loved it....but I would think one could have a good time in the right frame of mind at any club.
It looks like LAX is booking some notables for their Saturday night parties. In my brief experience with LAX, the DJs tend to spin a little more Hip Hop there than at some of the other clubs. Maybe this is a marketable niche by bringing in the likes of Fat Joe or Lil Kim. I agree that with the right group one could have a seriously good time in virtually any venue on the Strip. But if you're looking for that once-in-a-lifetime experience that your friends will talk about until you're old and gray, this might not be a viable option.

Yes, the dance floor can get insanely packed, but it's a decent sized club otherwise, with multiple levels/sections.
For whatever reason I've never gotten a great feel for LAX. It's not bad, but I think it's kind of a mid level place. Not totally awesome, but you can have fun. Been on Wednesdays and weekends, didn't really notice any real difference
As for the small dance floor. Save for XS, too crowded dance floors seem to be the most common complaint I have with Vegas clubs.
