Sorry if its in the wrong section (though there doesnt seem to be a right section for it anyways), but has anyone ever tried the $20 sandwich to get a room upgrade? I keep hearing people talk about that they placed a $20 bill in between their Id and CC when they check in and ask or say something and they have gotten room upgrades. Has anyone tried this? and if so, how do you go about it? Thanks!

I dont have a website though. Nor do i know how to set one up. I dont want to give a fake business card and they end up doing a check-up on it, and next thing you know at 3:00 a.m. they're banging on the door kicking me out and putting me in some crappy room, if that! I'm more interested in the sandwich thing. Seems easier. Your idea was pretty good though. -
I think that would have a good success rate as far as a room with a view is concerned. It could be the difference between a strip view or big metal cooling tower view. I have done that twice but never blindly . Once because they told me how great my room was and the other time after seeing my room I gave the staff some cashAppreciate Vegas
