Found a pretty good deal for the MGM bungalow suites for my trip in two weeks. Has anybody stayed in these? Not a whole lot more than the regular rooms, but they've got a little extra living space for pre-drinking.

I stayed in a celebrity spa suite on my first trip to vegas years ago. It's a little bigger than the bungalow... but from the pictures it looks like all the furniture and finishes are the same. Some may consider the rooms outdated... but for a place to crash and drink... it's perfect. I think you'll enjoy the room and staying at MGM.Vegas Trips:

I had a friend stay in on of those rooms and didn't really like it. I think those rooms are an upgrade from the standard room. My friend went down and asked for a standard room at it was no problem. I would check the room out... see if you like it. If not, tell the front desk you feel claustrophobic. I think they hear that often.Vegas Trips:

I stayed at MGM 2 weeks and the $20 trick got me up-graded to a Bungalow Suite. Nice size room that allows for a good pre or after party. Yes, they are a bit dated and still have the old fashion "Tube TV's" but overall, a great value & very nice. This was my 5th stay at MGM which is still one of my favorite hotels on the strip.

Ok here is a question for you guys.......taking the wife for her first time
to vegas....got a celebrity spa suite reserved....very good price for 4 nights. Now I'm hearing they are
Out dated I am hoping I can get us at least a strip view but now I'm wondering if a regular delux room at
Mirage would be better. If a real good deal for the venition or ceasers
pops up right before we go I would pay more for those but since we are doing 3 date nights
Of nice dinner show and club I'm gonna be dropping quite a bit (for my lifestyle anyways)
Already so I'm wondering pay the same for a deluxe room at mirage or ceasers or stick with the spa suit.
They will all be around the same price. I'm hoping some real good deals pop up for the venitian as we get closerm
Any opinions?

The bungalow suites are just a little bigger. The celebrity spa suites are exactly the same as the bungalow ones, except there's a nice giant spa tub in there. I'd pay the little extra just for the spa tub personally. Aso for pricing, there's always deals like twitter thursdays for the celebrity suites. You can easily find them at under $100 a night. I usually use http://www.mycheapvegas.com to find my deals, and if you email them, they'll actually help you find something. Hope that helps, cheers!
