  • New Years Eve

I know it's a little while off, but me and my friends are trying to decide what to do for New Years Eve.

We're trying to decide if we can fit in the street party, then a club (without paying a fortune for a couple of hours entry).

Anyone been for new year before? Any help would be useful.

Are teh clubs quieter the nights after new year?

    Cheers

    Deeka,
It seems like a while off but its really not, youre doing the right thing by getting an early jump. I havent been out there for new years but you might be able to pull off the street party and then a night club. I know here in nyc you can actually hit up spots after midnight as alot of people watch the ball drop and split. You wouild prob have to wait until around 1am to get into a club but I bet you can do it, there prob wont be a very long line because everyone is going to want to be settled before midnight. As for after new years, yes it is quieter, unless of course new years falls on a friday but I have been there right after and right before new years and it is very quiet BUT still a fun time, and actually easier to navigate and great deals as well.
it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the boss

I just realized that i have been going to vegas for quite some time. the first time i went to vegas, i was not aware of the amazing nightlife in the hotels and thought that the clubs would be pretty bad..anyway we did the street party. they block off a large portion of the strip and people just kinda look at the fireworks and that was about it. it was cold and we were bundled up. keep in mind this was 1998 so they may have changed the outside celebration.
