I bought 8 gift card for $640....and the package includes 2 tickets to one of the MGM shows. So, the airfare on AA at the Mirage for 4 nights with 2 show tickets for $640 is pretty good to me! It's just me so I will either go by myself or craigslist the ticket(s). Yeah, the scratching of the cards get old but I do what the other poster suggested, instead I open up notepad & use that. The only thing left for me to do is Priceline a car rental.
I never go for those package deals...they're never cheaper than doing the work yourself...I book the room directly since everyone has specials (even Mirage) and 800 bucks ain't a deal. SouthWest Vacations is always blowing my inbox up with supposed deals and when you break it down, it seems that you're paying a premium for the package.

As for show tix...I'd rather pick my own show and my own seats.

Seems like a good deal. If bs is $500, you would get it for $400. Easy way to save $100.
I wouldn't expect great svc and would use a Club host from here before buying it from Vegas.com....there's no personal approach that way unfortunately...I've used it for passes etc...but not BS. Good luck.

I understand you're in Fl. Very different market for Dallas & it is $640, not $800. I'd never pay full price. SWA for my market is retarded because of the stupid wright-amendment. I probably won't even go to the show. Here are the prices broken down if I purchased separately....
AA:$393.60 rt (Airfare is F***ing insane)
        Mirage:$556.00 (standard non-code rate)
        Total: $949.60

I *could* do better on the hotel without the package but with the air the way it is out of Dallas (DFW) right now, I'd have to get under $250 for 4 weekend nights just to break even with the Costco deal.

Geez you would think Dallas to Vegas would be much cheaper.....so that's about right then...roughly 500 for the room....my bad...

Yeah, you'd think but there isn't much logic in how the airlines operate.
