Has anybody used the Costco/Vegas.com card deal? Interested in some feedback. I've never bought any of the Vegas.com deals, and I'm wondering how smooth it works for getting club deals, etc.
Also, if you book your nightlife via the standard contacts can you still use Vegas.com to pay?Urban Bud - Tacoma, WA - recreational marijuana

Well, I wanted to book this weekend for the 4th before rates got stupid. Shipping would have taken too long. Luckily, I found a Costco here selling them, and got a flight and hotel myself and my wife for four nights for only $550 for the two of us.Originally posted by presto View Post

Yeah the Vegas.com and Costco gift card deal is hard to beat. We bought 20 ($2000) gift cards for $1600. Shipping was about 3-4 days. I did have to sit and scratch all 20 cards but I put all of the gift card numbers in a Word document and copied and pasted them into Vegas.com when I was checking out.

Bumping this old thread...how does this work with nightclub/day clubs bottle services? Are you just on a list after you purchase it on vegas.com and security will let you in? Who do you speak with? Also, most say gratuity will be charged at the club, so they charge you a gratuity on the minimum you pay for beforehand?
Seems like a good deal. If bs is $500, you would get it for $400. Easy way to save $100.

I'm not sure on this. I think it would be better to use it for airfare and hotel than actual club services. If in doubt, ask though. I would think that gratuity would be charged there and thus wouldn't qualify for the discount. But I'm guessing. Plus your handshake would also be done in cash.Originally posted by jonflesh View PostBumping this old thread...how does this work with nightclub/day clubs bottle services? You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Yeah, I figured the handshake/tip portion would be done at the club and in cash. Most of the deals on vegas.com say they are not counting in gratuity/tax and that will be collected at the club, so I'm assuming you just get taxed on the minimums you agree to.Originally posted by AK2Vegas View PostI'm not sure on this. Still a little confusing that you would just show up and say you paid for it on vegas.com. I mean buying a bracelet makes sense because you pick those up at the ticket window, not sure how bs works though.

I'm pretty fortunate as I have a Costco 7 miles away from me. I've used this twice in the last year flying from Dallas on Spirit (UGH) the first time & I'm going again in July, both solo. $847.82 was the base for 4 nights at Mirage (19JUL12) on AA with a $50 coupon on Facebook. I bought 8 gift card for $640....and the package includes 2 tickets to one of the MGM shows. So, the airfare on AA at the Mirage for 4 nights with 2 show tickets for $640 is pretty good to me! It's just me so I will either go by myself or craigslist the ticket(s). Yeah, the scratching of the cards get old but I do what the other poster suggested, instead I open up notepad & use that. The only thing left for me to do is Priceline a car rental.Last edited by hard2hold; 05-25-2012, 07:55 AM.
