How much to grease bouncers?

In Jack's guide he says bringing girls with you in small groups and asking nicely will get you in, however I've noticed a lot of people talk about 'greasing' bouncers. Exactly how does that work, and how much should I give them? $50? If it's just me and a buddy (male), should I be paying more? Also I read somewhere that they might let you skip on paying club entrance? How much of this is accurate and what's bullshit?

get there early and $50 for 2 of you is about right, you prob want to look for the person with the clipboard and shake their hand with the money in it and just nonchalantly say its just me and a buddy and they will open the rope for you....the comp admission is hit or miss sometimes it happens sometimes it doesnt be prepared to pay cover as well, but the key is getting in....enjoy!
