It seems the pinch is really in full swing in Sin City and the cracks in the foundation are growing. I just read this article and started to wonder what next?

The reality is that us the consumers ultimately win as you will see a drastic decrease in prices through the winter especially since competition will be fierce as City Center immensely increases rooms available.

Been going to Vegas for over 20 yr's. Until the past couple of yr's you could always get an economical clean rm in a decent hotel somewhere. Then the last 4-5 yr's prices for rm's went out the roof, along with comps decreasing...limiting my amount of visits. It's nice to see the prices coming down again and the good comps returning. May allow me to visit more frequently then another 4 yr's. Damn I miss Vegas.
