I try to always give locally, and shy away from organizations, but this is one organization that I like. For one its a loan, instead of charity, so the person of poverty is actually working to provide a better life for their selves.

When the loan is paid back you can cash out or re-loan it someone else.
Just thought Id throw this out there, since people tend to be more giving around Christmas.
