Do you think that's a good deal the palms wristband? I suddenly have an opening sat night. Do you like rain?

I think it's a good deal. Rain's ok. Each club itself isn't the best, but combined it makes for a fun evening. Ghostbar is good to start off with to relax, enjoy the view. Then check out playboy. Then get more clubbish with Moon and finally make your way to Rain. It's nice to have options and to easily bar/club hop. Can stop by a casino bar in between the hopping to grab a cheaper drink too. It's hassle free.

Simple math with the $120 package for Friday nights with the wristbands simply means you need to put away $60 worth of of vodka drinks in 3 hours. With Vegas pricing, this should be a maximum of 6 vodka drinks at $10 each or two drinks and hour if you really want to break it down. Factor in the "no wait" late at night and there you go!

I would say its safe to assume this would NOT include red bull as a mixer, but tonic and the rest of the general mixers should be with this type of hosted bar. Can anyone confirm this?

It dawned on me this morning on how to possibly work this deal out even more to my advantage- now my wife's tolerance is basically zero to drunk in a few drinks after having our second child back in May which makes for a cheap date when we go out. So, I figure if I get the $120 package and she just gets the $60 package, and as long as I can double fist drinks from the VIP bar area to the dance floor in Rain then its a win-win all around. Has anyone tried this route before?

I'd say a vodka drink runs closer to 15 than 10 at a club.

I wouldn't get your wife the $60 wristbands. You can get your wife on the guestlists and have her walk in with you to the clubs (women have it easy remember). If you wanted her to get the hosted bar, there's an option for hosted bar without the wristbands.

I agree with this, maybe by then JCers will have some reviews on the hosted bar at ghostbar or playboy as those seem like much better places to start the night then hit Rain later like you said.

I will say it is a tough call if the open bar is worth it on such a tight budget vs sitting in the room pregaming until midnight, really it is a personal preference on how they want to spend money on the trip.

I forgot about that. I remember seeing on the n9ne group's website that you can actually get on the guest lists there with minimum effort.

I'm going with my gf as well. I do see everywhere people tell me to just have her get through on the guest list and I buy the passes etc.

I'm just worried that won't work logistically. I mean if she's alone, she'll still get in? We'll get in at roughly the same time? Etc. etc.

Any advice is much appreciated.

you should get in together without a problem with or without the passes, if shes on the list and youre with her, theyre generally pretty cool about letting both of you in, you just might have to pay!

Yeah I was thinking about starting at Ghostbar and then moving to Rain/Moon later. I'm sure the hosted bar works exactly the same at the clubs other than Rain.

Cause it only really is useful for guys that go with their wives/girlfriends. Multiple guys = wait and neglect by the doormen.

No worries. If she's alone, even better chance for her to get in. That's a 100% girl ratio lol. Plus when you get in before her, it's not like you're far off. You're just a foot away on the other side of the rope and can still talk to the bouncer and tell him she's on the list. The bouncers I've encountered there have all been pretty cool.

Another question, when girls get in on the guest list, do they get to skip some line, or do they pretty much wait in line?

If guest list means waiting more than 20 min or so I would be happy to pay for my gf to get in faster.

They don't know about it.. or too lazy to. Also girls have the look good factor where they feel like if they look too good, they won't have to pay anywhere.
