  • Coat Checks and Rest Room Waits

This is probably a silly topic, but some more minor questions that my wife brought up last night after looking at the current weather forecasts in Vegas-

    1. I would assume that the clubs have coat checks for the winter months, what's the damage for checking in a coat?

    2. What's a typical wait to use the rest room at some of the bigger venues? She recalls waiting up to 30-45 minutes at the Rum Jungle back in 2002 due to what seemed like one set of rest rooms available. It was an absolute nightmare.

Never clubbed in winter but they generally didn't coat check in summer.

I just checked it in at the hotel desk. It's usually close enough.

Ive never checked a coat or noticed a place to check one.

I cant ever recall waiting in line for a RR at a nightclub either. Most clubs have multiple RR, and you can usually find one that doesnt get a lot of traffic. EX: At Tao, the opium room has a RR that you wouldnt realize was there unless someone told you. Ive never seen a line at that RR.

The pool parties are different though. Rehab being the absolute worst. Rehab has one RR, and it always has a long line. At Rehab, Ill throw the RR attendant $10-$20 and bypass the line for the rest of the day.

No coat check that we noticed, which was a pain as it was freezing when we were there, so took coats first night out and had to hide them in a corner - luckily they were still there at the end.
Good tip about putting it at front desk though!
Didn't really have to wait long in the RR, and besides they're so plush it's not a bad place to be. Had some great chats and met some cool people waiting in the RR line!
Halloween AOD #4 trip - I survived!!! (I still can't quite believe it!)

def no caot checks, and RR depends on venue and of course female is longer than male, but nowhere will it be 30-45 min it should move pretty quickly
it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the boss

You can always check the coats with the bellhops or guest services/front desk areas.

I've had to wait before but that's because I'm a girl and well all know that girls take 8x-25x longer in the restroom than men. Normally not too bad of a wait, maybe a few minutes.

Longest wait was at Wasted Space because it's a unisex bathroom. However bathroom attendants are in most bathrooms and they try and regulate the flow well.

I went to Tryst and The Bank this weekend and my wife used coat-check.. it was $5 at Tryst and $6 at the Bank. No lineups for the bathrooms there.

i'd be too worried about forgetting my coat at the end of the night.
just do plenty of pre drinking, you'll still feel the cold, you just won't care

Tryst has a coat check, but then I wouldn't trust any coat checks at clubs. I have the gf leave the mink in the trunk.
