getting a good table location

Hi all -

Will be in Vegas from Dec 10-13. I've booked tables and bottle service before through the hosts listed on the site. But sometimes - for some reason this happens a good bit at Tao - we don't get tables in a really good location. We've upped the bottles to 3 and sometimes 4 and have even greased pretty well, but can't get right on the dance floor where we really want to be. Are we just not good negotiators or is it something else? Would love to get some ideas from the more experienced on how we work the staff - is it when you get there, who you grease, how much you grease? Realize its an inexact science, but wanted to get some ideas from y'all.

From what I've heard just tell your host what you want and that your willing to pay for it. I'd assume that since youve done bottles before over and over you should have a good relationship with a host unless you use different hosts every time.

The only other reason I could think to you not getting the table you might want is because maybe your not greasing enough or maybe someone isnt getting their cut.
