  • Clubbing for couples

I tried searching the forums for an answer but am still a bit unsure. My wife (23) and I (27) are heading to Vegas on Friday and definitely want to go clubbing while we're there. I've read the info on JC.com and on these forums but was wondering what the best way to skip the line as just a single couple will be?

Will a club's host help out a single couple? Are VIP admission passes worth it since there are only 2 of us ... or should I try and grease the bouncer?

    Thanks in advance!

Whichever really. Couples can get in pretty easily. Best bet would be to get your girlfriends name on the guestlists of wherever you go. You can do that through the hosts listed here, the guestlist contacts, or some online way depending on the venues. Of course if it's a madhouse, doesn't hurt to be ready to grease a little.

VIP passes are never worth it. Get your wife on the guestlist.

Thanks for the quick responses guys... I'll definitely contact a host/guestlist contact to get her on the list.

              Royale: She's punjabi as well

ChappStick: thanks for the suggestions. We're staying at THEhotel @ mandalay bay from Friday to Monday so definitely going to hit up MIX. Does Friday night XS, Saturday Mix, and Sunday Tryst sound good?

I don't think Tryst is open on Sundays..but double check. It sounds like a solid plan. Avoid Tryst/XS on Sat cause its just a pain all around to get in.

I dunno if your going with just your wife you should have no problem getting in to Tryst atleast. When I went with just me my gf and another coulpe we had the easiest time getting into tryst... can't say anything about XS

+1 on guest list - we had no problems getting into clubs as a couple. Greased on our first night as special event, but paid no cover. Only paid cover for Mr E on halloween, otherwise guest list (or blag it like us and pretend you're on there!) gets you comped cover and a pretty quick entry if your wife has a short skirt/low cut top and you look sharp.

Tryst on Thurs was easy, sat was halloween and didn't take long. XS on monday if you're there was great.
Halloween AOD #4 trip - I survived!!! (I still can't quite believe it!)

Do you get in faster if you are on the guestlist and just a couple?

                      What's the typical wait like?

Guestlist usually have their own line that moves a lot faster. I would say on a typical night, you can get in within 20 minutes on the guestlist line, while general admin would take about an hour.

We waited about 10 minutes...the time waited was mostly getting the clipboard guy's eye. took longer the first night at blush - but then we hadn't really figured the system out by then. Don't be pushy, be polite, but if they're ignoring you after you've said hi and been directed to the guest list line, then signal them over and say hi again, but have a "line" and a big smile to hand (I asked if I was the only girl still in the line - I wasn't, but it worked). We managed to pretend we were on the guest list at Tryst, but it'd make life easier if you actually are I think!
Guest listed at Pure (longest wait, but NO ONE was going in as we waited, but we did skip about 50-100 people when we did get in), didn't queue at XS, but walked straight in...
no more experience than that I'm afriad.

                            Hm, awesome.

how to get on a guestlist, napkin nights?

I guess if you are just a couple you don't need to grease?

                            That's generally just for groups?

Don't bother with napkins. Its been confirmed that most clubs do not accept their invite system.
