Bottle Service Pre Auths

So when they do the pre-auth on your cc card how much do they normal auth on it. Is it like the cost of your bottle +tax + 20% or is more of a random amount?

Just trying to make sure my BS the first night the auth for the hotel "additional charges" dont get pre-auth stuck on my card that exceed the second nights bs

They did 20% for me at Tao. And none at Tryst. Both times it went like this: I got the menu and ordered what alcohol we wanted, then they asked what mixers I wanted and we ordered soda, Juice and redbull and water (fucking water-so much more than gas) and when this was all tallied up they ran that amount. I should have just paid cash so I couldn't have ordered anymore but at the time I was just to crunk to give a shit so I gave the card and forgot about the bill. Till the next day...
