When to book & where to go ?

Good afternoon all !

Quick couple of questions in anticipation of my Vegas 'boyz' trip.

5 English guys heading over in 2010 (May), just need to know:

1) Are Tao and Tryst the only decent places on a Thursday, what about Moon ?

2) We are into general chart/dance music, plus some classic disco (Michael Jackson etc) . Not really into the hip hop scene, nor techno. Which clubs do you recommend ?

3) if we want bottle service at any of the venues, how far in advance do we need to contact the clubs to organise ?

as of now XS Tao and Tryst are probably the hottest places with moon/playboy also in the conversation but a different type of place than the others. BUT there will be several new venues by May and nights for best places may change and some of the above mentioned clubs minght not be the hot spot by then, so just stay tuned, and you wont need to reserve a table until about a week before you arrive and the JC hosts are the best way to go about it.

I didn't like XS that much- as a brit it is not such a great club.

Pretty to look at, but not all that. I think you would like Pure, and I believe LAX is quite a british style club, but i was too ill to go!

I am preparing for all the XS lovers to pile in now!

Am happy to offer all sorts of advice as a Brit who loves clubbing and loves vegas and has been around a bit.

So May is a long way off - and from the experienced peeps on here all bets are off...BUT Tryst was great fun on Thurs and Sat and my fave place in Vegas.
Non of the places we went to were even remotely like UK clubs - but that's part of the fun! We can do meat markets and sticky dance floors at home, make the most of classy clientelle and stunning venues

We didn't do bottle service, and I'm sure that's a unique experience in it's self, but without it you can still have a blast.

The music is generally a bit shit - all the clubs play pretty much the same thing "house", and there's only one main dance floor - instead of different rooms playing different sounds.
It's kind of chart/house/mash up - you get used to it, and the floor was never too sweaty and grim.
Pure was the most like a club at home, but frankly wasn't at all like a club here!

Drinks are steep - get a few drinks inside of you before you head out.

Where ever you go you'll be popular with the girls - the James Bond thang is hot

If you're there at the end of May, met up with the AOD gang and we'll see you there!
