Got an offer for a free room there (I feel so honored by HET, they normally make me slum it at IP, Rio, Bally's or Flamingo if I want a free room). I think I'll take them up on it.

Anybody stayed there? What can I expect? With 30 plus visits to Vegas under my belt, I don't think I've spent more than a half an hour total inside that place.

The suites are pretty nice from what I've heard, and the standard rooms are well, pretty average like all of the Harrah's properties rooms. I got an offer from MGM offering,"Stay 2 nights, get the 3rd night free". Rates per day were around $60-90 per night, depending on night. Not including NYE (at least I didn't look) if you're interested.

Stayed at paris a couple times back in 2004-2005 for work.
Standard rooms were ... pretty standard. I'd say they are a little nicer than harrahs and ballys standard rooms (but this was 4-5 years ago so who knows now). It's nice to walk around the hotel and the little shops/restaurants/cafe area with it's paris theme.

Thanks, basically it's a slightly upgraded joint from the other Harrah's dumps. That works. I can't argue with the free room. I think they are giving me some free play or some type of bonus play as well. Works for me.
