Just read an interesting article in the L.A. Times with regards to a dispute between sheldon adelson the billionaire owner of Venetian and palazzo, and the managment of tao and lavo, here is the link http://vegasblog.latimes.com/vegas/2...-mogul-an.html . Now we do not know the whole story here, but I feel that if Lavo does open we need to push to patronize the joint. we know that it will be successful, but I can just imagine how much in legal costs this battle is costing them and it could jeopardize tao and lavo's future.

good read on both lavo and jay z's 40/40 club. Hopefully lavo opens up a planned but I would think the ball would be in lavo's court. They could pack up shop and get happily accomidated somewhere else. I would think the resume would be pretty strong after creating Tao. Surely its more complicated then what's reported and if lawyers are involved , forget about it.
As for jay z's 40/40 club, I have never been, but the you could see it from the strip, never was crowded or didnt seem like a crowd I would want to spend time with and there were no views or anything special about the place. Read bad reviews to so that didnt help. Obviously for a place to be successful you need more then a vegas address.Appreciate Vegas

it just sucks that they are trying to run nightclubs and have to deal with this crap. Unfortunately landlords can make tenants lives a living hell, especially when they have a billion dollars!! who knows there could be a no compete clause in their lease, we could speculate until the cows come home, lets just hope it gets settled and nightlife as we know it grows stronger.it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the bossComment

LAVO is Open and it is awesome
I must say the bathrooms are interesting. Especially the one in the lounge. Confusing at first but interesting after you learn how they work. Oh and the dance floor. Wow. Awesome. Looking up you are in for a surprise. Oh and the Hooka lounge on the balcony is so chill.
