well im sure donal is still wondering about this part, besides rnj's solution of just sticking to redbull's heheh, and since NY didnt delete it, ill give you my opinion to your topic...

first off you need to ask yourself how easy/dangerous would it be for a group of guys from the U.S. to go to Ireland and score some blow? imo it would be pretty difficult/dangerous... so it basically is the same thing here ... no one knows you, nor do you have any connection to anyone... the person you talk to could be a cop or a robber... or you could be the cop...

I personally have never tried to score anything in vegas... if myself or group members wanted or needed party favors, they would just bring them along with them... that being said, I have been approached by hosts and have used them for bottle service and limos and food reservations... and they have said to me, "im your host... i am here to take care of anything that you need..." and i said,"Anything?" and they "Anything, thats what i do... I take care of my clients that come here to Vegas" ... sooooooooooooooo i am NOT telling you to meet your host off of the JC site and ask him for blow... but if you build up a good relationship with a good host that you are doing bottle service with and you are taking good care of him, i dont see why you cant ask him if he can connect you with the right person...

Just like everywhere in the world... its out there and its definitely in vegas... thats the beauty of vegas... any given person can find pretty much anything he/she is looking for ... for a price... good luck irl

Ohhh and btw... you should read the Queens trip report... lol she was accused of stealing the coke ... and she also won the thread of the month contest

    See you in May!!!

yeah im thinking it would be best just to forget it and stick to the alcohol.no point in risking ruining the trip for everyone simply because i want to party a bit harder than the others.if it comes my way maybe, but im not going to bother looking for it or ask around.thanks for the help on that guys.

ok, so reading through the guides about reserving table service should i book it the week we are going, or even now? will some hosts even be willing to accept a group of 8 guys (im beginning to wish less of us were going!) it says that guestlist consideration is open to groups mainly consisting of girls??? if we're booking a table with maybe 3 bottles will their still be a problem?

it will be A 3 bottle minimum for 8 guys, as long as you get a table youll be fine. guestlists are mainly for girls and/or 1:1 ratios.....booking the week of is probably best

ok so far i thinkin for the trip:

thursday 19th: Tao (once the jetlag doesnt hit us-we have a lot of travelling) im dragging them out because its my 24th birthday tuesday the 17th, but im saving the party for vegas. I dont care how tired they are, im definately going out!

Friday 20th: Rain/Moon with the wristbands.

Saturday 21st: Myself and 2 of the group are going to the UFC in mandalay bay while the other 5 will be drinking/gambling somewhere.its also another birthday in the group that night. im considering tryst/XS or maybe Jet.anyone an opinion??probably will hit spearmint rhino with that limo deal too.

Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd: need ideas for these two.

Tuesday 23rd: We have an early flight wednesday back to wet cold ireland so probably not hitting the clubs this night.maybe the irish bar in NYNY.

also whatabout afterhours spots, i know im gonna want to stay out longer than some of the group but i should be able to convince my best buddy anyways.is drais the only spot??

My friend and I hit up the Irish bar in NYNY this last July. I think it was a Friday. I am hopping it was an off night because nothing was really going on in there. I was really bummed. And there wasn't even one guy in a kilt in there. Totally let down for me! I was looking foward seeing some guys in kilts there.
Dear Captain Morgan.....I've seen the pics we need to talk!

really? thats disappointing because anyone we know whos been to vegas recently has said to check it out, they would be biased though as theyre all irish! even if its not that busy i think we'll be very tired and broke at that stage so might be what we need. oh and people from scotland wear the kilts not the irish haha

Don't get me wrong I think it was just an off night or too early. But that does clear up the kilt question.

I read somewhere that the Irish invented kilts. Or was that bagpipes?

It was actually the French who first started the trend. But the Scottish did it better.

Just a tip in regards to going clubbing after UFC - the cab line & the traffic getting out of Mandalay Bay will be insane if you leave when it all lets out. Tryst or XS will be very tough to get into without a table or greasing big that Saturday, I'd imagine, for your group - especially since you won't show to the queue there until 11:45PM, earliest [after getting out and then dealing with the cabs/traffic - if you changing after the show or pre-gaming, add in another hour I guess]. Jet may be a little more palatable in terms of getting in, but... well, it's just not as good as either Tryst (or XS, I'd imagine)!

Crap, I hadn't really thought about this. Will it be an issue if I arrive early?

Probably would be ok for Tryst if you show early; XS may be more of an issue, though if you're there when they start the line maybe it wouldn't be bad? Being that it's a fight night, it's a big reason why I'm leaning more to going to the Palms clubs on Saturday with the wristbands.

Yeah, I'd thought about that. I'd just prefer not to go on Perfecto night.
