  • how much should I tip to get into Tryst this weekend?

The host said he can get us in, but apparently they don't have guestlist on the weekends, so because of this, how much should we tip him for three girls, two guys?
    Thanks for any advice!

if they don't have to pay cover, do you think $50 is reasonable? i think it's gonna be crazy busy..

Thought I would post an update for reference. when we got there, there was a huge lineup but the host walked us in and waived the cover. the guys tipped him $50. we later chatted and he said he would get us into drai's afterwards as well, cause it was going to be very busy that night (halloween). so i think 50 was sufficient, otherwise he wouldn't have helped with drai's (we didn't end up going that night though).

thanks for your help. appreciate it as usual.

Hi Kori, would you mind sharing your host's name and contact information. We are planning on going in a few weeks and would love to sync with him. Thanks!

                Vegasgirl,

The 2 hosts most commonly used for Tryst by JC members are Patrick Frank and Jared Garcia. Patrick's info on the mage page and Jared's is posted on this forum. Do a search for the name and you'll find it.

I've been enough times that I normally don't have to ask this type of thing, but doing a table with 12 people on a Thursday night at Tryst. 350-400 ought to be a more than fair tip for the host wouldn't it?

Assuming that's four bottles, that'd sound about right to me.

Why wouldn't tip your host at least the amount of cover?? Most people will not get ther cover comped with that rule.

That's what I was wondering. Thought it was pretty standard to tip at least the cover charge if getting skipped past the line and cover waived. Really, seems like common sense.

Now, bottle service tipping has a lot more wiggle room depending on what you are trying to get.
